The Prophet Jesus, known as ʿĪsā in Arabic, is one of the greatest prophets in Islam. Born miraculously to the Virgin Mary (Maryam), he preached the oneness of God, love, and peace. Jesus performed many miracles by the will of Allah, healing the sick and raising the dead. He delivered a message of mercy and guidance to the children of Israel, calling for submission to Allah. Jesus was not crucified according to Islamic belief, but Allah raised him up to Himself. He will return at the end of times to defeat the Antichrist (Dajjal) and restore justice.
