Richard discovers that the man from the forest is Henry VI of Lancaster, the one who killed Richard's father. Torn between fond feelings for Henry and the betrayal of York, Richard murmurs "die." "If you're in that much of a hurry to die," says Buckingham, "go ahead and keep killing in your rage." To Richard, however, this is nothing more than a punishment to bear.
